    CyberForum e V CyberForum Christian CyberForum e V was founded in 1997 as Private Public Partnership PPP which was strongly developing over the years to become a forum and platform for IT stakeholders and companies Meanwhile it has strongly developed to become a powerful network and is among the biggest and most successful IT networks in Germany with currently more than 850 members The current core figures are Over 1000 companies in CyberForum e V employ about 20 000 staff In the Technology Region Karlsruhe TRK approx 3 600 IT companies employ about 28 000 staff This does not include companies such as Burda IBM or SAP which are not located in the TRK but are part of the iRegion Karlsruhe Cluster Over the past ten years the sector showed an annual increase of staff by approx 7 9 Further members are research institutions such as Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT joint body of University of Karlsruhe and Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe Forschungszentrum Informatik FZI and Fraunhofer IOSB Business will especially be involved in the project through The Special Interest Group Mobile Region Karlsruhe an initiative bringing together about 50 companies research organisations and public bodies involved in mobile technologies and applications The initiative regroups the leading companies that offer solutions and services in this area The SaaS4KMU Software as a Service for SMEs network is a partnership of over 15 businesses mainly SMEs and research organisation managed by CyberForum and dealing with new cloud computing solutions Contribution to the project CyberForum and its members will be involved in all the projects activities and lead the consortium CyberForum will be also specifically in charge of WP2 Communication and dissemination Interested in latest UPSIDE activities Sign up for our newsletter Name Email Calendar August 2016 Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su 1

    support policy advising is the core competence It steers the Cities cluster approach and initiates and co coordinates the clusters in Karlsruhe CyberForum EnergieForum AEN These Clusters affect the economic development of the Technology Region Karlsruhe and bring in their experience in cross cluster activities After the first fast track CLOE project the EDD is part of the relevant Ministry driven boards to support cluster politics in Baden Württemberg The direct reliable contact on top level leads to fast implementation of projects results into a further regional cluster policy development It might lead similar to the experiences made in CLOE to the strategic use of ERDF for this aims Since 2009 the City of Karlsruhe has set up the SmarterCity Karlsruhe Initiative with partners from research and industries Global aims of the initiative are Coalescence of digital physical and service infrastructure Active involvement of citizens Allocation of intelligent services and infrastructures for information communication and mobility New business models international visibility Contribution to the project The Project results will directly be transferred into the Cities Cluster politics and the Karlsruhe 2020 Strategy The EDD will also contribute to the project by bringing in experience in the in the field of

    From the start inno has worked internationally in the field of assisting and partnering in processes which turn knowledge into value inno supports municipalities regions and nations in defining and implementing strategies to develop their economic competitiveness and innovation success inno is dedicated to creating returns from investments in knowledge generation inno partners with public and private institutions in stimulating and fostering the foundation and growth of knowledge based businesses inno has offices in Karlsruhe Rostock Leipzig Berlin Sophia Antipolis and Stockholm and employs about 60 staff members inno Germany in this proposal we name the operative unit of inno AG in Karlsruhe inno Germany will coordinate inno s participation in the project Contribution to the project inno Germany will have first the responsibility of moderating the establishment of regional agendas and the definition of the Joint Action Plan on behalf of all clusters In the second project phase inno Germany will support the implementation of specific measures according to its expertise especially with respect to the overall trans regional aspects of the measures inno Germany will also coordinate the mentoring activities of the consortium and support the coordinator with the implementation of the activities Interested in latest UPSIDE activities
