  • 2nd follow up meeting: One step closer | Sustexnet

    of the enviromental impact of industry SUSTEXNET COOPERATION The SUSTEXNET project cooperate with institutions involved in the textile sector that can provide their experience in solutions and best practices in textile processes and products On behalf of SUSTEXNET CETTEX team has identified synergies with L Ecole Nationale d Ingénieur de Monastir ENIM and they together have agreed working for a more competitive mediterranean textile sector ENIM was created in 1987 contains four departments mechanical engineering electrical engineering power engineering and textile engineering area 42 000 m² of which 13 000 m² covered each department issues the national engineering degree the Master s degree and PhD ENIM also delivers habilitation in mechanical engineering and energy engineering SUSTEXNET FOURTH MEETING The next april 28th and 29th the SUSTEXNET project celbrates its fourth meeting in Calabria The event is complemented with the development of a Networking and capitalisation event The seminar is dedicated to the exchange between firms and research institutions in the EuroMediterranean countries in order to analyse and propose new cooperation forms among strongly independent actors sectors countries and along the production chain of the T C industry For further information http www artes research com en speakers sustexnet open seminar SUSTEXNET WORKSHOP IN TUNISIA As part of its support activities for textile clothing companies Textile Technical Center CETTEX work to develop partnership actions through international projects cooperation in order to promote exchange and technological transfer In this context Textile Technical Center CETTEX organized by October 17 2014 a workshop in collaboration with the Competitiveness Cluster of Monastir El Fejja MFCpole to present SUSTEXNET project to target groups and final beneficiaries This workshop is occurred on the sidelines of Tunisian exhibition Carrefour Business and Technology CAT 2004 in Tunisia Generally the objective of SUSTEXNET project is to contribute in promoting the competitiveness and sustainability of Textiles Clothing sector in the Euro Mediterranean area It aims to federate the expertise of the different institutions involved in order to benefit textile industry of Mediterranean zone with a sustainable development perspective and an extended value chain says Slim Jamoussi project leader at CETTEX It is also expected through this project to promote best practices for efficient use of resources use of natural local resources reducing transport costs reducing energy consumption introduction of intelligent logistics arrangements and improved revaluation process for industrial waste SUSTEXNET NETWORKING SUSTEXNET and TEXTILE 2020 platform have signed an agreement with the purpose of promoting the transference of knowledge ensuring capitalisation and communication of both projects TEXTILE2020 is the largest Advanced Technical Textile cluster in the world brings together eight of the most important Advanced Technical Textile clusters from European countries such as France Spain Germany UK Italy and Czech republic represents more than 900 organizations of the Advanced Technical Textile sector including universities research labs technical centres SMEs large companies etc covers the whole value chain of the Advanced Technical Textile sector from design to manufacturing and from fibres to end products has the right critical mass to boost R
