  • 3rd Meeting in Budapest, Hungary
    also decided to make Newsletters 3 and 4 thematic Copyrights and Data Protection so that they can be used in the seminars with teachers We did start then a review of all the reports of the project Project Procedures State of art Finally it has became a really huge compilation of information about educational repositories in the world and we decided that this information should also be included in the our repository afterwards First taxonomy report It is ready and was used to create the questionnaires From talks with some teachers it seems quite complete and looks like it will not need many changes in the final version Questionnaires answers We will wait until the end of June to get answers and in July prepare the resalts and with that create the final report of the taxonomy We also worked on the First report about State of art of copyrights and data protection in the project countries and the Copyrights and data protection recommendations AGT is responsible for both reports and both are ready already as agreed in the kick off meeting Both reports were presented during the meeting and decided that seminars and courses to be done with teachers from October should include all this information about copyrights and data protection and the specific issues if any in the project countries These are questions that teachers are interested about specially when they are planning to use internet resources During July we will compile all the results from teachers and students concerning taxonomies and then finalise the First Revetax Educational Taxonomy When this is final we will create the repository using it so that all the partners can start to populate it About Evaluation Report this is an ongoing process during the project We revised the first version of the

  • 4th Meeting in Manchester
    students find repositories quite important for education With all the information we got from teachers and students we did create the final version of the taxonomy This final report was presented in the meeting and carefully reviewed so that all the partners of the project are aware of how important this report is as this is the brain of the repository and is the way to get a good retrieval of resources in the repository We also revised the ongoing evaluation process and check we got all the requiered inputs After that we review the status of the Newsletters We revised Newsletter 3 in English and Spanish Translation to Hungarian and Turkish should be ready by the 20th of October Newsletter 4 will be also thematic about Copyrights as 3rd one is about Data Protection and will be ready around the first months of 2015 Concerning dissemination besides the regular dissemination way of project web site partner websites email and seminars and conferences we review the role of each partner in the social networks for spreading the information about the project The responsibility of managing each social network among partners was done before but we agreed now that the managers

    Mariano Sanz gave an overview to the Project Status We have most of the important results of the project done and it is important now that we make and effort to make it available to teachers and students in our environments and to show our results as much as possible We had a final review of the Revetax Taxonomy implemented in the repository it includes all the changes which were very few and mainly errors of transcription The taxonomy has been seen as really complete by teachers and students and seems to be useful for at least the 3 or 4 coming years for educational purposes We therefore assume this version of the taxonomy as the final one and of course is the one implemented in the repository so result 11 will not be changed any further from now We started then to review the repository interface how it works how to search but also how to include resources The decision was that all the data metadata to be included in the repository should be in English as this is the working language of the project and the repository has been implemented also in it But the resources themselves could have any of the languages of the partners so that teachers are able also to find resources in their own languages Kenny Payne proposed to create another couple of questionnaires for the end of the project so that we can be able to refine the impact of the project OAKE will be responsible for the development of those questionnaires which will be ready for the final meeting in Madrid OAKE also proposed to make more visible the results about Data Protection and Copyrights as now it might be a bit hard for many teachers to get the information from the
