    06 R D management in the development of projects in the field of robotics Robotnik has a multidisciplinary engineering team which is qualified in several fields amongst others computers manufacturing industrial telecommunications and mechanics Robotnik s main specialities are Autonomous indoor transport robots and field service robotics applications Robotics products mobile robots robot arms robotic hands and humanoids R D Robotics projects and special robot systems design The company won the Jóvenes Emprendedores 2002 Enterprising Youth Award given by Fundación Bancaja which recognizes the resourceful spirit of the company and the investment made in the development of products and services Robotnik has also obtained the EIBT Innovative and High Tech Enterprise qualification by the ANCES National Network which recognizes Robotnik as a high tech company with an innovative environment and high professional and technological formation Role in the project Robotnik will be responsible for input into WP1 for specification input WP4 for assisting with the development of the robotic systems to validate the developed systems during trials in WP5 and to exploit the robotic climbing mechanism in WP6 Reasons for participating Robotnik will benefit from its participation in the project as development of novel robotic mechanism able to climb using

    are major electric power utilities companies many of whom are active in wind power generation and therefore potential customers for the AUTOWINSPEC technology TWI also has one of the largest NDT research team in Europe has become a world leader for non destructive testing NDT There are more than 150 people including engineers technicians support staff and EngDoc Role in the project In WP1 TWI will contribute to specification input and will manufacture artificial defects in the wind turbine specimens provided In WP2 they will research and design the signal analysis for Acousto ultrasonic They will also develop software to automatically estimate the mechanical properties of the blade and its remaining lifespan During integration they will assist WP leader Innora and participate in trials They will actively participate in WP6 dissemination and exploitation They will assist Project Coordinator WLB in financial and administrative matters Reasons for participating The SMEs selected TWI to take part in this project and to have a leading research role because of its long and successful experience its proven technical excellence in NDT and its 15 years experience in LRU TWI will benefit because it sees wind power as a strategic target for future technology developments
